1.According to the state of racking, it can be divided into two types- fixed type and movable type:

(1) Fixed Type Shelf Racking Systems: heavy duty long span shelving, warehouse pallet racking systems, drive in drive through racking, carton flow gravity racking, multi-level mezzanine racking, steel structure platform, mold drawer racking, etc.

(2) Movable type shelves can be subdivided into moving shelves and changing shelves. Moving shelves can be subdivided into light and medium moving shelves (also known as mobile shelves, manual  or electric type) and heavy pallet moving racking.

2.According to the structure, it can be divided into two types- welded type and assembly type

Assembly type racking is now widely used in international warehouse.

3.According to the load capacity, it can be divided into three types- light duty type, medium duty type and heavy duty type.

(1) light duty type: load capacity less than 200kgs/layer

(2) medium duty type: load capacity between 200-500kgs/layer

(3) heavy duty type: load capacity more than 500kgs/layer

4.According to different height, it can be divided into three types- low position rack, high position rack  and super high position rack.

(1) low position rack: less than 5meter

(2) high position rack: 5-12meter

(3) super high position rack: more than 12meter
